Spice has launched its Android OS dual SIM smart phone. It is one of the best phones available in the market at its MRP of Rs. 9,999. It is a true value for money and one should really go for it. But, I must say that users have faced some teething problems with the phone and this post is dedicated to all those who may face similar issues.
Spice has got two more android smart phone lined up with the Spice Stellar Mi-500 Dual SIM android Smart Phone and the Spice Mi-355 android phones in the pipe line. The Spice phones names and models are given below:

3) Spice Stellar Craze (Mi-355)
The Spice Stellar Horizon (Mi-500) is expected to be launched in the market soon at a price tag of Rs. 11,999. The Spice Stellar Craze (Mi-355) is expected to be launched a little later with a price tag of Rs. 6,499.
The first issue is with the proximity sensor i.e. whenever a call was made or received that screen would go blank and the phone would become unresponsive. Pulling out the battery was the only option to put the screen back on. Sometimes, exposing the phone to bright sun would automatically bring the screen back to life. The second issue is that contacts need to be preceded by the county code (+91) for the caller identification to be enabled, else the contact would show as an unknown number.
One other thing is the threaded message which I really don't like, but it is a feature of Android OS and one really can't help it.

The android market is really hotting up with the likes of Karbonn, Spice, Lava and Fly coming out with economical android smart phones with Dual SIM capabilities which are not that bad when compared with the mighty Apple, Samsung, HTC and Motorola. I feel they are going to eat the market-share of the major brands especially in India where the common people are crazy for value-for-money products. And with positive reviews for all the new low-budget phones the likes of Samsung, HTC, Apple, Nokia and Motorola need to be on their guard.
